I used Decksteriors to build a 3 foot tall walkway/wall in front of our house.

The reason I chose Decksteriors was the design. We initially looked at 3 different companies. The work was done in a couple of weeks which was quicker than I expected as it was a large project. The entire experience was a pleasure. Tee end result is a work of art and completely transformed the house. I just wish we would have had the finds to do it sooner. I highly recommend Decksteriors.

I started out with a deck and ended up with a deck and glass enclosure which turned out beautiful. I have oak trees which I did not want to lose, so he cut around them and they are in the middle of my deck, giving it a lot of character. He has good ideas and work with you on creating a design that you will like.

Prompt, courteous, and always kept me informed. I would highly recommend this company. I have had other contractors do work for me in the past and this company is far superior to most. I like being kept informed and they did an outstanding job of this. The workmanship is great and they cleaned the area daily and when finished with the job. This was my second project with them and as I said, I'd do business with them again. I was unsure exactly what I needed and the salesman made several recommendations which were outstanding. They did not pressure me and their prices were very competitive. The entire experience was a good one.

Designed and build a new deck for our home, using composite deck material called Evergrain. Price included hauling off old decking materials, all materials and labor for new deck, including skirting around the bottom.
Jeremy did a great job working with us on the design. He visited on 3 occasions to work with us on making sure the deck was designed to our needs. The installation crew was very professional and took pride in making sure the deck was done to the design. They worked around a large oak tree and made sure to place the main support beams where they would not damage the root system of the tree. We did have a couple of changes (adding doors to the skirting area) that added cost, so make sure to price in everything from the start. In general, it was a great experience, and I would certainly hire them again.

Would I hire them again? Yes. We initially contracted with Decksteriors to expand our existing deck and construct an arbor. Decksteriors representatives worked with us through numerous homeowner association (HOA) inquiries, HOA and neighbor requested design changes and subsequent building permit and engineering requirements. As with any project, especially dynamic ones, there are opportunities for miscommunication. This project was no different. For me it is about results and a willingness to ensure the customer is ultimately satisfied and happy. The owner of Decksteriors ensured the successful completion of our project.

We bought home six months ago and the large 650 square foot deck is about 20 years old and in poor shape. Decksteriors removed old decking and replace with a composite. It was referred to as a "re-skin." They also rebuilt a set of stairs that were woefully inadequate because they were too narrow and were flimsy.
The demolition of the old deck surface was difficult because many of the deck screws were rusted and broke off, others stuck and the head became unusable and the deck had to be sawn down the middle of each rafter and then jimmied out - a lot of work. Since the substructure was in reasonable good shame, they were able to lay in the new composite boards after laying down some new wood where they joints would come together. It looks professional and covers up the lack of square of the original deck and made some trim pieces where they lack of square was apparent next to the home wall. They collected 33% down at signing and started within two days, due to a cancellation - lucky us! Another 1/3 midway, and the final after all was done and was inspected. The work crew was experienced and professional, did a great job. I had tried to use Home Depot Restore coating, but it just wasn't making it and would have made reconstruction difficult in the future. Now we can enjoy the new surface for a long time.

Jeremy first came out to give us the estimate. Very professional, nice, punctual. He has a wealth of knowledge on deck building and represents the company very well. Also helped ups a great deal in coming up with the design of the deck. The team was ready to start the following week with material and all. Overall great quality work, great products used. I have worked with Decksteriors in the past. Keith and has staff do a phenomenal job of seeing the job through all the way. One of the things I found outstanding is Keith's code of ethics. He will always do his best to help the consumer. He does not take short-cuts that are commonly taken in the industry that the consumer will rarely pick up on.
